Bonneville 2013.
Commissioned to build the chassis for team Rooster Booster .
We went over to support Steve, Karl and Nick riding their tuned Bantam 125's.
Combined with a 2500 mile road trip searching out the back roads of the Colorado plateau, we went looking for America - and found it.
The Malarkey chassis, 125cc Bantam racer. The tuned engine, machined, built by Steve Roberts. Steve rode to an average of 84mph, top speed 89mph and gained one of the three landspeed records acheived by the Bantams. 100 degrees F, air thinness, 7000 ft. riding on the salt - can give a relative reduction of upto 20%. Still more tuning to be done on engine and exhausts. Pendine next year!
